Yakuza 7ís First Trailer Bursts Onto the Scene; Takes Place in Yokohama With RPG Commands

Sega has officially revealed Yakuza 7: Hikari to Yami no Yukue, which features a bring new protagonist with Ichiban Kasuga. Furthermore, a first trailer featuring the story premise and an entirely new town has been released, as well as screenshots of a new RPG command mechanic that was teased via the April Foolís video. The game releases January 16, 2020.

Yakuza 7 revolves around the life of Ichiban Kasuga, and his fight back to the top after he willingly takes the blame for a crime that sends him into prison for 18 years. Upon release, he finds nobody there to receive him, and when he goes to find the boss, gets seemingly shot, and sent to Ijincho Town in Isezaki, Yokohama.

While not shown in the trailer, the game will have a real-time battle command system similar to choosing commands in an RPG.

Yakuza 7: Hikari to Yami no Yukue releases for PlayStation 4 on January 16, 2020 in Japan.

I'm one of those people. I loved Yakuza 0. It was probably the best crime drama I've ever played. The silly diversions are great too.

I HOPE this comes to Steam!
