I'm all for the contemporary Western setting. Hope the full trailer doesn't disappoint.

Have high hopes for this, The Crew 2, and the new Assassin's Creed game. Ubi should have a strong E3 showing.

I've lost faith in Ubisoft after the past two Assassin's Creed titles, Far Cry Primal, Watch Dogs 2 and Ghost Recon. All of those were open-world games that were bug addled and boring. I can't see the trend changing until changes are made at the developers under the Ubisoft banner that make these games.

Interesting setting. I like how keep changing those in the Far Cry franchise.

Big kudos for having the guts to go stone age in Primal, I enjoyed playing it and don't mind the formulaic gameplay that much, it was different enough to its predecessors. Unlike the Assassin Creed series, which really needs an overhaul by now.

I really like Far Cry Primal and The Crew. They did a huge job supporting The Crew post launch and their community people were very patient and helpful. As far as I'm concerned they're on the right path. Can totally understand the hate for the redundant Ubi online service DRM, but I've never had a problem with it running alongside Steam. Disable ingame notifications and it may as well not exist.

The setting is intriguing, but the last three (four, if you count Blood Dragon) games have been the exact damn game with a re-skin. They really need to mix up the mechanics and put something fresh in there.

They could have gone old western and they would have made a mint.

At least we won't have elephants.

But we'll have tractors.

See when I first looked at that font I thought it read "Hype County" and thought it was apropos to Far Cry. Then I realized I was wrong - kinda.
