NieR:Automata Game of the YoRHa Edition Releases 26th February 2019

Alert: Bring glory to mankind in NieR:Automata Game of the YoRHa Edition on the 26th February 2019!

"Square Enix has asked me for a comment to mark the announcement of the NieR:Automata Game of the YoRHA Edition. Now that you mention it, NieR:Automata was first released on the 23rd of February 2017 in Japan, 7th of March 2017 in America and on the 10th of March 2017 in Europe. I have noticed something bizarre and fascinating about these numbers: if you write these dates out in long-form as 20170223, 20170307 and 20170310, then add all three numbers together, you get 60510840. If you take that total, split the digits in two down the middle, making 6051 and 0840, and then subtract the second number from the firstÖ unbelievably you get 5211!! Thatís right, a number completely devoid of all meaning! Just like life really, isnít it? Over and out." - Yoko Taro

NieR:Automata has surpassed 3.5 million shipments and digital sales since its initial release since its release back in 2017 and has received high praise for its compelling storyline, slick combat and memorable soundtrack. Play as androids 2B, 9S and A2 created by mankind to reclaim Earth back from invaders of another world known as machine lifeforms.

Analysis: The NieR:Automata Game of the YoRHa Edition features the full game as well as the 3C3C1D119440927 Expansion DLC, 5 pod designs (Play System Pod Skin, Grimoire Weiss Pod, Retro Grey Pod Skin, Retro Red Pod Skin, Cardboard Pod Skin) and Machine Mask Accessory. Additionally, those who purchase the PlayStation 4 version will receive a Dynamic Theme and 15 PSN avatars and those who purchase on Steam will receive 2 wallpapers.

NieR:Automata Game of the YoRHa Edition will be available digitally on PlayStation 4 and Steam. In addition, a physical version of the game will be available for the PlayStation 4.
Anyone own this? I've heard good things from my co-workers.

This might have been the most overrated game I have ever played. It was god-awful, and I guess the twist is that you get different endings if you play through more than once. I could barely make it through the first time, so that did me no favors.

It's a game that's definitely in love with itself, but it does have a lot of redeeming qualities. Notably, the game uses playful camera angles in nearly every scene, and these unique control perspectives really do a great job of bringing out the beauty of the world.

But man is it buggy.

The game is wonderful.... I didn't finish it, but I loved what I played. Too many games syndrome.

I didn't get the hype either.

Finished it, but after a promising start IMO the game went worse and worse.

Also, some ultra-retro design choices are not cool just because they are "retro".

This might have been the most underrated game I have ever played. It was fantastic, and the twist is you get different endings if you play through more than once. I cruised through it and had a blast the first time, so this does me favors.

I tired to play this game, tired it out, I was going to buy it on sale, but it seems to require so many hours and the combat didn't spark with me like DMC.

I did love the art and the feel of it though.

I might give it a try in the future.

I thought it was very good, not game of the year good but still very good. The soundtrack in particular was fantastic.

I don't care about the game. Someone is going to first need to describe why the most boring babe design in the history of gaming has so much, equally boring, porn dedications.

This might be the most "meh" game I have played recently. It has some cool aspects, but I got bored after a few hours. It seems to be a game that you either love or get bored of. Hopefully you love it.

Great game. GREAT game. Story is a big part of that. IF you only beat it once, you missed out on a lot of it. I wouldn't think of beating the game initially as actually beating it. Three play-throughs gives you the full story. But each subsequent one is from a different point of view and is shorter and changes up the gameplay.

I can see how some people might be turned off by the combat, or possibly some of the world design, but I think it all game together quite well and was what I was looking for. Definitely a polarizing game.

When NieR:Automata Game of the YoRHa Edition sells for $20 it's a buy. There's a lot to like, but it wears thin after a while,

It's like the Russian Collusion hoax, with Anita Sarkeesian playing Adam Schiff.

I think the Xbox version got extra content and when I saw that, I knew it was time to wait for a game of the year edition.

Lol, did she actually at some point condemn Mario somehow for being sexist? That's hilarious.
